Butane Industrial Group’s

1953
When we first lit the company flame back in 1953, we had one clear aim: to bring modern home comforts to families throughout Iran. Introducing a range of convenient, clean and efficient gas cooking and heating products, we helped put an end to the use of dirty fuels like wood and coal, transforming family life across the region.

1981
Since that time the Butane Industrial Group’s ongoing commitment to innovation, quality and superior customer service has helped to raise Iranian living standards with each successive generation. Within a few decades we became the region’s first and largest manufacturer of gas burning appliances and LPG cylinders. We were the first company to introduce instant wall-hung water heaters to Iran in 1981, and the first manufacturer of combi-boilers, whose popularity has been growing rapidly ever since.

2014
We continue to invest in our manufacturing base, the latest technology and our market leading, customer service network.

We are also committed to satisfying rigorous national and international quality standards, which has enabled us to expand our markets and become a major exporter of gas water heaters to Europe. Little wonder then that Butane’s customers have labelled the company as the “sure choice” for home heating.

“Become a major exporter of gaswater heaters to Europe.”
Today the Butane Industrial Group (BIG) is proud to be:

1st and largest manufacturer of wall-hung, gas water heaters in Iran

1st and largest manufacturer of combi-boilers in Iran

Largest manufacturer of wall-hung, gas water heaters in the Middle East

2015+
With BIG heating systems are already installed in over eleven million homes, we are confident that our new generation of water heaters, combi-boilers and radiators will provide for the future needs of our growing customer base.

Building on our technical know-how, the dedication of our workforce and our large production capacity, BIG aims to repeat its successes in the Iranian market on the international stage and to establish the BIG brand as a global player in the HVAC industry. In exporting our fourth generation of gas burning appliances to the most demanding European markets, BIG has already taken the first steps on this journey.
