IGWDC was established under the name of Shalour in 1977. After a few years the firm began to expand its activities by providing more services for the country and the society in Gas, Oil and Water transmission fields and hence changed its name to IGWDC, which stands for “Iran Gas & Water Development Company”.

The company is proud to have the experience of installing over 1500 kilometers of gas, oil and water pipelines by completing more than 30 different projects .

Along with execution of the work, IGWDC has possessed all machinery needed for any oil and gas projects with bigger than 40 inches diameter pipelines.

Regarding projects, renewing more than 60 kilometres of the Second Main Gas pipeline of Kangan – Farrashband is a notable PC project undertaken by the company.

Previously 42” gas transmission pipeline of Maymay – Dashte Shad was completed that led to official appraisal of IGWDC’s managing director by the deputy minister.

48” and 56” gas pipelines of Tehran’s 5th phase and 24” Yazd – Taft – Mehriz gas transmission pipeline are some of other jobs done by IGWDC.

Furthermore, construction of 36” feed pipeline of Tehran’s 5th phase, implementation of gas transmission pipeline project between Germi and Pars Abad, gas distribution for major cities of Damghan and Semnan, and construction of several control and reducer gas stations including Shahreza - Dehaghan and Southern Esfahan CGSes are some of more than 30 projects completed by the company.

According to the official listings of the Strategic Planning and Control governmental organization, IGWDC is proven to be a 1st grade (the highest level) contractor company in the Installations and Equipments ground.

In 2008 IGWDC was registered against ISO 9001 standard in Gas Transmission Pipelines field, by the ICS Registrars, UKAS.

It should be mentioned that IGWDC is an executive shareholder of Petro Sakht-o-Nasb Co. (PSN), Petro Sanat Saman Co. (PSS) and Hampa Co., and also a shareholder of Karafarin Bank.

The company is also an active member of Iranian Syndicate of M & E and Industrial Contractors (ISMEIC) and Association of Petroleum Industry Engineering and Construction Companies (APEC).

Today, counting on our experience and knowledge reinforced by the equipments and machinery owned, IGWDC aims to enter international markets of Water, Oil and Gas projects to reach as close as possible to its goal of sustainable development and progress.
