Mapna Group is an Iranian enterprise which operates in the area of construction and development of thermal power plants under EPC scheme, independent power plants (IPP), oil and gas as well as rail traction projects.
Since its incorporation in 1993, Mapna Group has contributed to the engineering, manufacture of equipment and construction of power plants within the framework of commissioned, under construction and prospect projects scheduled to generate a total of 52000MW of electricity and constituting 86% of Iran's installed power plants capacity. The total contractual value of Mapna Group's projects in three spheres i.e. power, oil and gas and rail traction exceeds Euro 17 billion.
Power:
As an independent investor in independent power plants (IPP), Mapna Group currently has under construction, several private projects under BOT and BOO schemes with a total generation capacity of 7000 MW worth €2.5 billion.
Mapna Group is the only producer of all main components of thermal power plants including steam and gas turbines, turbine auxiliary, turbine blade, generator, HRSGs, conventional boilers and their auxiliaries under license from reputable international companies in Iran.
Mapna Group is the leading power plant general contractor in the Middle East and West Asia and the largest manufacturer of power plant main components in the already mentioned regions and serves as a pioneer investor in the private power plant projects. In response to the ever growing demand and as a result development of the power market and in an attempt to provide the incentive necessary for the construction of private power plants, Mapna Group provides power plant after sales as well as operation and maintenance services.
Oil & Gas:
Implementation of oil and gas projects such as development of fields, construction and development of refineries, sweetening installations and gas transfer pipelines, electricity and steam utilities and many other similar performances have been placed in the Group's agenda.
Railway:
Manufacture of cargo and passenger locomotives in close cooperation with reputable international companies and implementation of rail transport projects lie within the scope of other performances of Mapna Group.
Relying on a host of experiences and staffed by highly specialized men and women, Mapna Group has managed to gain access to international EP, EPC and IP power plant construction market. So far, the group has constructed power plant units in Iraq, Oman, Syria, and Lebanon with a total installed generation capacity of over 1600 megawatts.
Mapna Group finds itself committed to environmental concerns and for that matter has recently taken into consideration employment of renewable sources of energy such as wind as well as modern and advanced technologies such as Distributed and Combined Heat & Power Generation Methods (DG/CHP).
