Regarding the development of polymer and chemical engineering, the essential of an organized association in this field was felt. Iranian association of chemical and polymer engineers has been formed through the work law of the related associations (clause No. 131) for the purposes of support and protection of profits of its members and also improving the economical and social situations of the engineers in these fields. The founders of the Iranian association of chemical and polymer engineers, the pioneers and experts of polymer and chemical engineering, has formed the main core of the association since 2006 and at last The association officially started its activities at 2009 with the registration no. 12300 (referred to the official newspaper) .
