In accordance with the Islamic Republic of Iran s industrial strategy and at beginning of Iran s reconstruction program , FARS DIESEL was established in 1368 (1989 ) to provide the needs of the industrial and construction sectors for diesel generators with the specific purpose of technology transfer and hard currency savings .To reach this goal , FARS DIESEL plant was constructed in shiraz to house our most modern production facilities for manufacturing diesel generators , welding machines , pumps , and control panels , resulting in millions of dollars of savings in hard currency.

The central office in Tehran consists of design , engineering , after – sales services , and research and development sections. Utilizing state of the art technology and fully computerized offices , FARS DIESEL has succeeded to achieve it s goals.

FARS DIESEL s highly technical and competent staff along with it s experienced engineers staff along with it s experienced engineers have managed to manufacture diesel generators which can compete with well – established international manufacturers.

In this regard FARS DIESEL has managed to receive technology from SIEMENS and LEROY SOMER of france for alternators and use engines such as MTU and DEUTZ – MWM of Germany and VOLVO penta of Sweden .providing high technology , FARS DIESEL is aiming to start exporting it s gen – sets to foreign countries in the near future .

FARS DIESEL is situated in south – east of shiraz on a 130000 square meter of prime land , 10 KM from the city . it consists of four large buildings with light and heavy machinery and one building for manufacturing of control panels . FARS DIESEL is able to produce about 1000 units per year.
