As a joint stock private company, RUNIRAN is founded by Tehrani brothers in year 1991 in Iran. RUNIRAN has been a pioneer private company in assembling and manufacturing of modern city & intercity VOLVO buses in Iran and West Asia.
Tehrani brothers (Reza & Asghar Tehrani) have started bus body building since 1946 , just before the end of second world war , and after striving for more than two decades , they founded the first bus & mini –bus manufacturing company named Pars Lux , which was engaged in building bus and mini-bus bodies using CKD Magros Duetz chassis , imported from Germany.
After transfer of Pars Lux co. to a public enterprise , Tehrani brothers established RUNIRAN company dedicated to manufacture VOLVO city & inter-city buses in Iran , and a new agreement was signed between RUNIRAN and VOLVO Bus Corporation (VBC) to purchase CKD chassis from VBC , as an exclusive importer and supplier of different concepts/models of VOLVO buses supported by a network of after market services in Iran.
Since its establishment, RUNIRAN has extended its innovative activities in all dimensions , especially in upgrading of it's products regarding quality control (QC) , and local integration of body parts, continuous training of its human resources , and extensive reinvestments to increase its production capacity from one bus per day up to 6 bus per day.
It is noteworthy to mention that RUNIRAN-VOLVO bus brand is the most reputed brand in Iranian domestic and foreign markets /neighboring countries as well , and enjoying utmost good will in the region. Increasing demand for RUNIRAN-VOLVO products , as a matter of fact , has helped RUNIRAN 's Sales Department to pre-sale the products within a short period , much earlier than it's pre-planned delivery time schedule.
After 12 years of dynamic presence of Runiran in assembling /manufacturing and producing of a variety of the most modern concepts of VOLVO buses in Iran , Runiran is proudly assisted by the most qualified managers, engineers , personnel and skilled technicians , who are endowed with latest worldwide know-how to produce city and inter-city buses in Iran as a pioneer bus manufacturers/supplier in the region.
Runiran as a private joint stock company , started its operations by producing 1000 B10M city buses and supplied these to the Vahed-city bus company of Iran in year 1991-92 .After accomplishment of such a big order , Runiran commenced the production of two new concepts of VOLVO buses to meet increasing demand of surface/road transportation fleet of the country.
Runiran-VOLVO bus products enjoy the latest technological innovations , such as Euro II & Euro III emission standards , that can be upgraded to comply with Euro IV standard.

At present, Runiran has proudly commissioned its latest manufacturing line to produce 2 new VOLVO -bus concept such as B7R MKII, B7RMKIII AND B9R I SHIFT, which is enjoys a hi-tech./innovative chassis and attractively designed body.
The B12B (TX) model enjoying stainless chassis and body , stands as a forerunner inter-city bus in European markets.
The challenging new feature and technological specifications of B12B (TX) chassis represents predominance of such a unique feature , among other concepts supplied to Iranian market . B12B (TX) intercity bus complies with different climatic conditions , due to having stainless steel chassis and body (anti-rusting and anti – corrosion) as well . Moreover, B12B (TX) bus interior is furnished with a most , suitable driver seat and also a set of very luxurious passenger's seats selected from the most modern and outstanding designs of Europe.

At present, 16 after sales services are rendering countrywide services to the customers . Establishment of a few centers in the cities such as : Ardebil, Shiraz, Uromiah, Hamedan, Bandar-Abbass and Ahvaz will be materialized in near future.
