The company was established in 1976 under a joint venture agreement with Ciba-Geigy (Novartis) with the name of Swiran. The company was started in 1981. Sobhan Darou Co is engaged in formulation, development, manufacturing and marketing of finished dosage forms as generic and branded pharmaceuticals.


Sobhan Darou has over 100 pharmaceutical formulations in its range of products. The factory is located in Rasht industrial city in Northern Part of Iran and head office is in Tehran.


Scope of activity :

The company has a fully equipped central laboratory, manufacturing plant for solid dosage forms (tablets), semisolids (ointments, creams and gels),liquids (drops) and packaging unit
