Mehran Hospital Industries, as the first manufacturer of hospital equipment in Iran with 50 years of experience and more than 50 kinds of products commenced its activities in 1952 with the endeavors of Mr. Kazem Akbari Nakhjavani by manufacturing the first Cobalt Chamber as per Professor Afshari's order (Radiologists). After such an accomplishment, he then proceeded with design and manufacture of Negatescope (lasting 3 months from data collection to manufacture of a sample) and further managed to make different models of Single, Double, Triple, Fifth which were all previously just imported from Philips of Germany
