Ionite nutrient substrate ZION FOR FLOWERS strengthens the plant’s root system, helps adapt seedlings, and ensures early and prolonged flowering of garden and indoor flowers. Recommended for cultivating annuals, perennials, and blooming garden shrubs. Ionite substrate ZION FOR FLOWERS provides balanced nutrition throughout the entire lifecycle of the plant. Once applied, there is no need for further supplemental feeding within the effective period.
Benefits:
- Optimal balance of nutrients for harmonious growth and blossom of garden and indoor flowers.
- Safe for direct root contact without risk of overdosing or root burns.
- Promotes adaptation and survival of transplanted plants.
- Made from natural minerals, environmentally friendly.
- Free from chemical fertilizers, nitrates, hormones, pesticides, herbicides, and growth stimulants.
- Contains 60 times more nutrients compared to even the richest soils. Remains productive for up to three years.
APPLICATION METHODS:
For flowers planted from seeds or bulbs:
Mix the ionite substrate with soil at a rate of 1–2 tablespoons per 1 liter of soil. Place the seeds or bulbs inside and water thoroughly.
Transplanting annual flower seedlings to open ground:
Dust the rootball of the seedling with ZION substrate. Apply 1–2 tablespoons of substrate underneath each plant's root in the planting hole. Bury the plant, tamp down the soil firmly around the stem, then water generously.
Planting perennial flower sapplings:
Sprinkle the rootball of the sappling with ZION ionite substrate. Introduce the substrate into the planting pit beneath the root using 30–60 grams of substrate per liter of rootball. Example: When planting roses from a 0.5-liter container, use 15–30 grams of substrate. For a rose from a 2-liter container, apply 60–120 grams of ZION.
Feeding growing perennial flowers:
Smaller plants like roses, hydrangeas, clematis, peonies—create depressions about 5–10 cm deep along the perimeter of their planting area and insert ZION substrate. Backfill with soil, compact gently, and water. Larger plants such as lilac, clustered roses, cherry trees, almond decorative shrubs—make slanting punctures around the trunk circle approximately 30–40 cm deep using sharp tools while avoiding damage to the root system. Insert ZION substrate into these punctures and cover with soil. Dosage depends on size and age of the plant. For example, for a rose less than 1 meter tall, recommend dosage is 200–300 grams. For a lilac bush between 1–2.5 meters high, recommended dosage is 700–1500 grams. This process may be repeated until frost arrives.
Usage notes:
No limitations exist regarding the quantity of substrate application. Applying larger amounts simply enhances performance and extends the beneficial effects' duration.
