The original records of company activities date back to 1991, including the execution of several industrial projects of various types and magnitudes that were undertaken by the Kherad Enginerring Company(KEC) and completed within a decade that ended in 2001. In this year, in order to improve and expand the capabilities for execution of the industrial projects, all responsibilities, resources and facilities related to these projects were transferred to Kherad Industry Technical & Engineering Company (KITEC) that had been formed for this purpose. Thenceforward, this new company has undertaken the responsibility for execution of all industrial projects within the group of companies of Kherad Engineering Company (KEC).

With reliance on its rich human resources, and utilizing this long and strong legacy of experience and technical know-how, KITEC has continuously tried to safeguard customer satisfaction as its first and foremost business objective; consequently, the goodwill or brand name of KITEC among its large number of clients in both public and private sectors is the outcome achievement of this 19-year struggle that has evolved into a highly precious asset and uniquely genuine pride.

Thanks to the high level of customer satisfaction in various domains of the Ministry of Petroleum, Ministry of power, Ministry of Industries & Mines, and other industrial enterprises of the private and public sectors, and , relying on the thoughtful planning and continuous struggle of its managers and technical work-force, KITEC has attained a desirable and stable growth–rate and the honor of successful completion of about 50 important projects in various parts of the country.
