High Efficiency energy saving fluorescent lamps (Tri band) for the first time in the country

1. Lower power consumption and more light and efficiency

In this kind of lamp, the luminous flux has increased up to 30% and its electricity consumption was reduced by 10%. Hence, the lumen efficiency is expected to rise by 90% per watt, making this product at the A level of energy consumption.

2. Better luminous flux maintenance

By applying triband phosphor in this new fluorescent lamp, there is little luminous flux compared with previously made lamps.

3. An increase in the rendering color index

Being between 55% to 70% in normal FL’s, this index is over 82% in Lumelux lamps.

A rise in this index causes the objects to look more beautiful and natural which is highly effective in reducing eye sore and strain.

It must be mentioned that the obligatory color rendering index is 80% according to European standards for places where humans abound.

4. No need to replace the lamp frames. No extra costs.

This new lamp can easily be placed in ordinary lamp frames. There is no need for an extra cost of replacing lamp frames, therefore, more efficiency and less power consumption can be obtained effortlessly.

5. Long life and initial appearance maintenance.

Using new technological knowledge and high quality raw materials namely triband phosphor , krypton gas, protective ring around the filament and special emitter, our technicians have managed to double the life span of the lamp.

PST was a major producer of Fluorescent lamps up to a year ago. However, it now manufactures different types of high efficiency Fluorescent T10 and T8 lamps, self-ballasted energy saving lamps (CFL), Single Capped Fluorescent (PLL) and also High Power LED lamps instead of Halogens in order to expand the variety of products, increase the efficiency, supply the market needs, create employment and improve its position among lamp producers.

All kinds of electronic ballast

Fluorescent lamps such as FL, CFL & PLL depend on their ballasts while working and the ballasts have a direct effect on their life time and luminous efficiency. For this reason, PST began producing electronic ballast by using its existing facilities. As SABA organization (Iran Energy Efficiency Organization) has a positive opinion about this project, all types of electronic ballasts can be produced with desirable specifications.
