The paraffin manufacturers cooperative co. of Iran ( PMC ) was established in 2005 with the purpose of receiving practical recommendation from experienced paraffin producers in order to restructure supplying and distribution of slack wax and decision making for production and export of paraffin, foots oil and other related derivatives.

The outstanding efforts of the personnel of PMC caused rapid growth of the cooperative, so that, PMC has become the most important wholesaler of slack wax in the country , and also, one the recognized and well-known exporter of paraffin, and its byproducts in Asia and Africa.

The cooperative obtained certificate of ISO 9001-2000 from AFAQ Co. of England in 2008, and at the same year, it was chosen one of the top ten cooperative companies in the country and was awarded a plate of appreciation by the ministry of cooperation of Islamic republic of Iran.

At present, PMC plans to offer new products to be presented in new markets for exporting throughout the world.
