This Iranian private consulting engineers company was established in 1988.

In the first and the latest regulated evaluation since the Islamic revolution, accomplished by the ministry of energy, due to our continuous struggle to preserve and to promote the quality of our activities and to observe the time schedule of projects, Pooyab succeeded to acquire the first position. The result of this evaluation was reported to the minister of energy (August 28, 2001).

25 years of working experiences in border region, especially in Iraqi border, the lands that have been ravaged by an 8-years war, has made Pooyab a company for uncommon and unsecured projects. Most of our studies or supervisory activities have been situated within or in the vicinity of mine fields. This can include arduous paths and irrigation access road.

Pooyab Consulting Engineers has had lots of invaluable experiences during its studies on very special projects like very loose foundations (Hassanloo and Khorshid Abad Dam), uncommon water tightness conditions of dam axis, dam site selection based on special conditions (Chenare Dam) or dam structure design based on local borrow material (Khairabad Dam) and creative thinking on the definition of the projects layout and location (Hassanloo off-stream dam or Oshnavieh dam on a tributary of the Goder River, to which considerable amount of water was convyed from the Goder River can be mentioned).
