Arg-e-Jadid Communications Services Company or "ARG Telecom Company" associated to Arg Development Company:(ADC) was established in Tehran on year 2001 and from that year started its activities in predefined Tlecommunication fields. Arg Development Company, a subsidiary of Kerman Automotive Industries Company: (KAIC) started construction of Arg-e-Jadid City from 1994 with the objectives of Economic and Industrial development in that region and helping creation of considerable jobs by the investment of industrial private sector. This City, located 12km away from Bam City, a famous ancient city, has sufficient and necessary facilities and sections for Tourism, Housing, Sports, Trade and in particular Industrial activities.

In industrial section, part of this City is dedicated to Special Economical Zone. In this Zone, Kerman Motor Company: (KMC) , the former manufacturer of Daewoo Passenger Cars as the most important industrial and job creative entity is located. Now KMC has stopped production of Daewoo passenger cars and instead three new passenger car manufacturers namely Bam Khodro , Rayen Khodro and Modiran Khodro have started production of Volks Wagen, Hyundai and MVM passenger cars respectively. New factory for production of Trucks and Buses is put in operation in Arg Diesel Company in Arge-e-Jadid city. Avrin Khodro Co. is also a new company in charge of production of Trucks.

With regards to the development of the City and creation of job, ADC company invested in different sectors such as Tourism, Hotel Chain, Insurances, Travel Agency and very recently in Communications, Information and Broadcasting Technologies. In the latter section, ADC company established the ARG Telecom Company:( ATC) on year 2001 with the objectives of establishment, introduction and expansion of conventional and advanced Communications, Information and Broadcasting:(CIB) services for governmental entities as well as for private sectors.

The short and medium term strategies of Arg Telecom Co. is to take part in all tenders with regards to CIB technologies and also to establish and provide respective CIB services by consideration of ruling regulations in this regard.

In long term, Arg Telecom’s strategy is to invest in all Telecommunications sectors such as Infrastructure Networks and Communications Services as "Private Telecom Operator" with the objective of establishment and introduction of advanced and high quality Communications, Information and Broadcasting Services in a competitive environment throughout the country.
